About Me

Who am I?

I’m a 27 year old software developer, mostly working in Java & JavaScript, with a good bit of Ruby, Python and C# for luck. I’m feverishly keen on all things relating to automated testing, devops, polyglot persistence, and good old-fashioned high-quality software development.

By day I’m a technical lead and the open-source champion at Softwire, guiding teams and building great software for our clients, and pushing Softwire to engage with and giving back to the wider software development community.

By night I’m a prolific open-source contributor, on things like JUnit, Ektorp and Knockout, and some of my own projects (such as loglevel, a fairly popular JavaScript logging framework).

I also give talks on all things technical too (on things like modular JavaScript, XML attacks and performance testing) and I’m a frequent hackathon attendee (and occasional winner).
